When you focus and realize you aren’t making any productive impact during your existence because you’ve been insanely distracted… Things begin to clear up but with this lingering feeling of, “what now then?” Aside from parenting what sort of impact am I to make? Or is it best to focus on that important facet of reality at the detriment of all the other parts of it? It seems like most things I have skills in are on the cusp of becoming obsolete. A few years at most. Then what? Plants? 🤣
I love that that triggered your, “awh shit they’re depressed” senses.
September ends when neuralink can teach me kung fu without turning me into a cyborg slave.
I wonder if human use in fields like botany will survive the ai tsunami? I find plants fascinating. Would be interested even if there wasn’t money in it. I wouldn’t mind figuring out micro propagation… I saw some people cloning plants in petri dishes on YouTube and now I want to try it… 😮💨
I wanted to minimize my Fiat exposure. It felt like catching a flying knife.
I missed a lot of what I saw in the ep. 1-3 of starwars when I was younger. I never understood the mass hate for jar jar. I assumed people disliked his annoyingness… Now my kids want to watch it. And seeing it through the lens of an adult I see his role in creating a dictator. I don’t know if that’s why people hated him. But I’m going to assume it was until told otherwise.
At what population density per mile should one no longer target practice in their back yard?
If only I could make a script that goes through my photos and deletes all the one of plated food…
I have this slight urge to use chatgpt to rewrite the richest man in Babylon but more futuristic and with bitcoin instead of gold, silver, and copper. 🙃
Do you also play call of duty while listening to bitcoin content?
“…hide it under a bush? Oh no.”
Humming to self: 🎶”This little light of mine… I’m gonna let it shine…”🎶

A scientific model doesn’t necessarily reflect reality, but because it can be used to predict results in the macro they are more or less accepted as the truth until a more accurately testable model comes about. At which point a world view must update or another individual is relegated to the archaic ways of yesteryear.
I turned 19 as btc was launched. I remember sitting in the college cafeteria and vaguely noting the newscaster discussing an issue with the economy. I dropped out a few months later. When I returned to my hometown I was able to get another job at a prior employer, a copy shop. There was a banner on the wall proclaiming, “where’s my bailout?”
All of this went over my head. Life continued as normal. I got married, had kids, got divorced, had to move back to my hometown again. This time I feel the money issues. We talk about how far a few hundred dollars goes at the local grocery store. How a few years ago it was $50 for a full basket and now it’s $200. Fast food for four routinely exceeds $50. It once was less than $20. They all complain about people gouging us. I meekly explain why supply and demand is an important concept.
Anyhow…
How long until “human only” contests become an issue for political debate?
When I was watching a edu doc about Rushmore I saw it mention them. I’ll need to dive in now that I’ve heard it more than once 🙃😮💨
Why do rocks at a high elevation make me think, “whoa”?
