When I was still active on Instagram and TikTok, it appeared that almost everyone was attempting this speed combo. So I put some time into it as well. It was the first trick I tried to learn in a year or so at that point. Strange how the interest to further your skill comes in fits and starts.

Because I’ve decided to take my website down I needed an alternate location to list and sell my Mori yo-yo. I went ahead with using my eBay account for this purpose. If you are trying to find the yo-yo I use in my videos this is where they’re available at the moment:

These are the MagicYoYo version of them. I haven’t used konkave in a long time because it felt like they caused backspin binds. I miss g-strings. Paul Wallace was in the process of making a comeback just as the pandemic began and then he stopped :/
It kind of varies from day-to-day. at the moment I’m using a bearing called a center track which is flat in the middle and has two 45° angles on either side directing the string towards the center but they’re all flat.
This is a new string for me. This is from a company that went out of business about a year back or so. They were called Bad Wolfe Co. it’s a thicker and heavier string. A couple weeks ago I noticed I had a few I got a couple years ago and thought I should try it out. I’m not really sure what it was called.
I’m starting to hit the ending of my new yo-yo trick correctly. Finally. 😮💨
