All the people I regularly interact with here are incredibly positive and overwhelmingly optimistic about the future.

I never noticed, before, how much I have the inner drive of an entrepreneur. I don't lose interest. I don't run out of energy or ideas. I don't get easily distracted. I don't shy away from calculated risk. I plan everything out and update in real time. I think more clearly under pressure than when relaxed.

I have 0 motivation to keep working and have others take advantage of my work.

At work I am surrounded by useless people, 60% of the workers support the rest who don't even go to work with the excuse of teleworking.

We add that in my country the real unemployment rate is very high and only 15 million people support 48 million and there is no motivation to work because the government gives subsidies for everything.

I have always stood firm, a man has to work, a man has to be an example for his children, but fuck, I can't take it anymore.

I never thought I would end up living communism in my flesh.

In addition to the shorter intermittent fasting I would also say to consider trying a longer fast.

For me my first multi day fast really changed my perspective on food and hunger.

It feels profoundly empowering to know that you can go a week without eating and only drinking water. It changes your relationship to food because no longer can you ever believe the voice in your head that says you need to eat or you can't function without lunch. You have proved to yourself that it is mental. Once you get through the first day or so the hunger signals become quiet and you realise that they were just noise. The addictions in your Brain talking to you rather than a genuine urgent need for food.

It feels very freeing.
