I prefer chaotic and aromatic myself but it doesn't seem to be the desired style. I had lemon and lime trees along that little path as well. it was only short, maybe 8 m walk but just overgrown and an absolute sensory overload in spring

2000 was a good time to leave. Enjoy the 90s which were actually fun there and then get out. Still love the countryside though. Hard to beat for quaintness. Was in Braford Upon Avon in May and just stunning
Its good. Its a little expensive and some challenges here and there but I like it. Haven't lived in UK since 2005. Am also one of those weird people who decided instead of ploughing everything into big mortgage on overpriced house, better to have 3 small bases on 3 continents and then GTFO of Europe before 2020 and assess. Seems like it was the correct choice with hindsight. Was rather shocked when in UK earlier this year to see steaks sold in tamper proof boxes in the co-op in Aldermaston but good to see Bristol and surrounding area seemed reasonably "normal"

Create as many solutions ourselves. My 2025 goal is try to buy some land and put some friends to work! Have a friend who's been managing regenerative ag projects for years and one that's an amazing vet and wants his own place. Want to do sweat equity earn out with them. Try to fund building a farm that they work and take building equity stake as it grows. Nice challenge!
Quite a few people mentioning #argentina. When I went last year, I met a great guy who has a little rental lodge near a river with amazing #flyfishing called Rio Gallegos which is apparently famous. I had totally forgotten about this but if anybody is into that, DM me if curious. It's usually phenomenally expensive at the big estancias so I can hook people up with an opportunity that might be out of reach otherwise and did try to orange pill him so he may take bitcoin.

Have you considered an aromatic path? I did one in my garden once and it's fantastic. Plant thyme and oregano etc and let it overgrow. Once well bedded in, use it as a path to walk down. I had various things to harvest either side so would walk down every couple of weeks without a care for where I was stepping. The fragrance was amazing. Had some lavender there as well for pollinators. Just a thought
Its a long flight. Make sure to tag a shorter one on top and visit the south. BA is a nice city but the glaciers and the fjords are truly magnificent. Its an interesting challenge. Always makes me wonder best location. Here in Costa Rica, my friend cleaned his off in the dry season and was shocked by instant 20-30% increase in output. Obvious problem is water use. It's a complicated issue. Am wanting solar on next house but also want a hose on the roof and collect water through gutters to reuse.
Its often overlooked. There was a massive project (>500m USD) in Abu Dhabi called Shams. When they started phase 2, I think phase 1 was already down 60-70% production!

meetup. Looks like a few orange pilled. Not really my thing so just went in with a 20 minute presentation blitz and straight into sending 30 sats around the room through lightning after everyone downloaded their first custodial wallet. Followed through with setting up a trezor and how to store keys on steel. Can't help but think it's better not to focus on the actual presentations too much. Far more fun to just "play with your bitcoin"!! Onward!
