the data for your extension is stored locally on some web apps. i do not know about all of them though. there's a chance that while you were using a web app w/o extension that your key was compromised because it was saved in local storage. clear you local storage and hope nothing happened while you were using that app.

I think one of the largest issues with nostr for the average person is the lack of UX. most people don't understand that UI and UX are some of the last things to come when building a platform. functionality is first and foremost. usability is often an afterthought, especially from an engineers perspective. once you understand that and try to look at what it could become one day, then things start to click. #[1]
