The real fun begins when popular Bitcoin node platforms like Umbrel, Citadel, MyNode, Start9, etc. add support for nostr. You'll be able to run your own web client and your own private relay with the clicks of a few butons.

Can you invite them from your twitter account?
I can.

#nostr_console is already on #umbrel and some others as part of #PyBlock ...
Do relays communicate with each other like is a relay also a client? Like I run my own relay and it pulls the feed from the Damus relay. Is that how it works?
A client and a relay are not the same thing. A relay is essentially a server, it's just that there's no "central server", and it's function is to forward data, so it's called a relay.
I follow that. My question is more if I’m the only client connected to my relay will I see anything besides my own posts? Like is there an inter-relay communication that passes the posts between relays?
If you only connect to your relay and no other relay, yes. It will be a ghost town.
How do you run a relay?
I run this relay in a docker container. https://github.com/Cameri/nostr-ts-relay
👀 Whoa, little advanced for me at the moment!! Have no clue😅
And when the p2p exchanges integrate clients. And when wallets integrate clients. And when clients integrate clients
I'm considering looking into running a relay on my Macbook. It's already running Bitcoin Core. I use it for audio/video editing, so it depends on what the disk and CPU requirements are.
Cannot wait for this!
Yes! Excited about this.
