Maybe. That is only a perspective.

Many people bent the knee to receive the jab. To continue their “normal way of life”.

The jab was a line in the public sand and we decided that that public sphere was no longer _needed_ in our lives.

And we moved onto something we believe is better in the world. We changed our perspective on what was needed.

Everyone is sharing the worldcoin video, but I won't.

Look. Not everyone is going to make it. The point made by 1984 is the same point made by Ordinary Men: most people will love the regime. Most people will do anything to comply, to not stick out, to do what everyone else does—no matter how ridiculous.

The solution is deceivingly simple: don't try to change other people. Focus on yourself and how you spend your time.

Opt out. Don't feed the beast. Concentrate your time, energy, and attention on the alternatives represented by #bitcoin and #nostr. Become as resilient as you can. Become un-ruggable. Ignore the noise.

Matera is a city in Italy known for its unique and fascinating cave dwellings called the Sassi. These ancient houses and buildings are carved directly into the cliffs made of limestone, creating a mesmerizing and otherworldly landscape. The Sassi of Matera have a history dating back thousands of years, making them one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the world.

Exploring Matera with the family (and a stroller) actually isn't too bad. It's hot as hell and there's lots of stairs, but with a bit of teamwork and some midday rest at our place out of the sun, you can get a lot done. Early mornings and later evenings are key to avoid the hottest parts of the day.
