TRAVEL UPDATE:

Matera is a city in Italy known for its unique and fascinating cave dwellings called the Sassi. These ancient houses and buildings are carved directly into the cliffs made of limestone, creating a mesmerizing and otherworldly landscape. The Sassi of Matera have a history dating back thousands of years, making them one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the world.

Exploring Matera with the family (and a stroller) actually isn't too bad. It's hot as hell and there's lots of stairs, but with a bit of teamwork and some midday rest at our place out of the sun, you can get a lot done. Early mornings and later evenings are key to avoid the hottest parts of the day.

great pictures โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ enjoy your trip

I really enjoy seeing one of my #Bitcoin heroes relaxed on a well-deserved vacation with his family. Big hug friend.

Thx, that looks like pretty cool destination ๐Ÿค™

Those are some incredible low time preference buildings! Are they modernized on the inside?

Depends on the building! In some capacity most of them will have modern amenities. They are homes, shops, restaurants, hotels, etc ๐Ÿ˜

Amazing photos!

Great photos!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Looks amazing! How long would you recommend to spend there?

We're in this area for 4 days - plus we've rented a car to travel to nearby areas in the region, including this place called Alberobello. Looks amazing!

Nice

Beautiful. Everything but the chemtrails

Beautiful! Are people recognizing you on your travels? Iโ€™m wondering how popular #bitcoin is. ๐Ÿ˜

Haha no one thus far - I wasn't expecting it either. Excited to meet some bitcoiners in Rome for a meetup next week though!

Will you only be staying in Italy or also traveling Europe? Cool if you could make it to Frankfurt...๐Ÿ˜œ

Just Italy and Malta this time around, but will definitely be back in Europe.

Italy is so legit. Great pics. ๐Ÿ’ช

While you're there, go further north and visit Rimini and Ravenna, they're two amazing gems, both historycally and geographically ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Would love to get there - perhaps next trip! We're primarily south this time around.

Have a look at Methera in Via Roma. Super Restaurant. https://www.methera.it/ Maybe you can still paying with BTC

They'll open at 5pm I guess

Thanks for the suggestion!

Did you find the restaurant Methera?
