Me: oh Hai! My name is barry... I'm just here because heard a ruckus going on about this site and want to take (after) screenshots of some scams to make a point elsewhere. I already got the before raid shots I needed for another thing. K byeee.

Other than a few handfuls of people knowing... the tell tale sign was when raid forums changed it's home page to a login page and the website tried to prevent you from browsing without logging in.

You have to create an account to even browse the sight

Does that sound familiar?

Well it should.

Adrenaline stimulates the release of endorphins, which are natural pain relieving compounds. They bind to opiod receptors in the brain, which produce analgesic effects that diminish the perception of pain, Essentially. It's like smoking dope.... or taking opiods. (roxies, oxys, hydros etc.) It influences the central nervous system by heightening alertness and cognitive focus... meaning you're in a state of heightened awareness and fight or flight, so your brain prioritizes immediate survival actions over processing pain signals. The sympathetic nervous system, when adrenaline is activated, further modulates neural pathways, reducing those that are receiving transmitted pain signals through the spinal chord. The neural suppression of pain ensures that the individual can maintain physical performance and focus without hindering due to discomfort. The redirection of blood flow also plays a crucial role. Adrenaline causes vasoconstriction (the narrowing or constriction of blood vessels by small muscles in their walls) in skeletal muscles. This enhances blood flow to areas needed for rapid physical response.

Adrenaline is a natural pain killer... just as addictive as a drug. Just as harmful when abused.

This is why creatures in pain are aggressive.

I beat him in several competitions... spelling... reading... science... he was better at math usually.

My outlook on life was a little nihilistic. Everything was kinda pointless and I didn't care and usually put in minimal effort.

He went goth/punk/emo and made an attempt to reconnect by studying with me in a way that I didn't really consider as studying.

I was always going off and doing other research that wasn't assigned. Generally bored with everything. I used to learn quickly.

He couldn't beat me and inevitably joined me... but I never really saw it.
