This morning when I woke up, the temperature was 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Felt like 39 degrees.
With the sun finally breaking through the clouds, it's finally warmed up to feel like it's 41 degrees.

My favorite wildflower is flowering now. 🥰
Impatiens capensis, jewelweed aka “touch me not” (the seed pods explode if you touch them)

I expected to see/hear Caspian Terns, Great Egrets, Eastern Kingbirds, Killdeer, Double-crested Cormorants, and Cedar Waxwings at the international wildlife refuge.
A Red-headed Woodpecker preening in a dead tree was a nice surprise at the refuge.
