It’s mostly water vapour not water droplets. When the vapour coaleses around something (bit of dust etc) it forms a water droplet which is more dense than the air and therefore falls .

I’m not sure on the exact science but there are also significant updrafts in big cumulonimbus clouds. When the water vapour reaches a critical height it freezes and starts to fall. Friction between these falling ice crystals and the other water vapour can charge up the cloud and eventually cause lightning. Updrafts in the clouds can slow down these falling crystals and cause a recirculation within the cloud allowing huge charges to build up.

They ‘float’ in the sky because they are less dense than the air underneath them. When they become more dense they fall to earth as precipitation.

I’m going to hazard a guess that the reason you see them is due the water molecules refracting the light.

I got whatever vaccines were recommended where I grew up in the 80’s and I’m fine.

My wife got whatever vaccines were recommended where she grew up in the 80s and she’s fine.

We also got everything under the sun when we went to work in India but that was as adults.

My kid got all the recommended vaccines where we live now and he’s fine.

There are definitely some that babies / children don’t need and my son has not had the optional extras.

I’d suggest looking at other countries vaccination schedules and how they’ve changed over the years. The most important ones are likely the ones introduced first.

The general temperature of the climate increasing is not the issue, it is the rate of change that will cause problems. As humans we’re very adaptable but not all species are and there are a lot of interrelated food webs. If one of the species that can’t adapt quickly enough are bees or other pollinators we’ll be pretty screwed.

It’s kind of important if you want to go sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing fouling etc. And there would be no surf without wind.

My life would be much duller if there were no wind.

Doesn’t seem to be the case. Here’s an excerpt from the answer it gave me.

“In China, references to the protests are heavily censored, and the date "June 4th" is often removed from online discussions.”

Do you feel like your setup would be less secure without it or is it more of a convenience?

Weighing up if I want to spend the extra $100 on a Coldcard Q vs MK4.

If I don’t care about having the qwerty keyboard is the QR scanner and self contained power worth the extra money?

The cells at the top of the picture are still there. It looks as if there is some kind of optical effect happening that makes them hard to distinguish from the surrounding solution.

The cells at the bottom of the screen can clearly be seen bursting. The cell wall doesn’t completely disintegrate and disappear when when a cell bursts.

Cell membranes are inelastic. If a cell is flacid (not full) the membrane will wrinkle like your skin if you are in the bath for a long time. When the cell is full, or turgid, the cell membrane is stretched tight.

It is possible for cell membranes to burst. One such scenario is when it is infected with a virus. The virus uses the cell mechanics to replicate until there is no space left and then the cell bursts. Another scenario, although less likely in the body, is if the cell is in a highly saline solution.

If all the people calling for back doors to end to end encryption and made ALL of there personal communications public I would consider that leading by example and maybe think about supporting them. But that’s never going to happen 😂

Ok, but that brings us full circle doesn’t it? Your initial assertion was that the difference between the 2 pigs was purely due to what they eat. Now you’re saying that the amount of exercise is the main factor?

If you remember my initial response was that their diet is not the only thing responsible for the difference.

If you had a comparison of pigs of the same breed who had the same amount of exercise but were fed different diets and you had a similar result to your initial picture that would be an honest comparison.

Likewise comparing the Samoan guy from 150 years ago with someone from today is not an honest comparison because there are so many uncontrolled variables.

The reasons for the differences are multifaceted and nuanced.
