I can find credible sources that say eating too much protein, fat, or carbs is bad. I’m in my 30s and I’ve found that only the last of the three has had noticeable negative effects on my health.

To be fair, however, when I’ve reduced carbs I’ve increased fat intake. So I wouldn’t say I’ve ever eaten truly “high protein” diet.

I’ve only used Bard a little bit. I’m hoping the school I work at will turn it on for us as we are a google school. I’m not crazy about using it with my personal gmail because I trust google about as far as I can throw a data server. I don’t trust OpenAI much either, but at least their current business model isn’t scraping and selling every scrap of data they can possibly get from me.

Oh for sure. We’ve never seen anything like it.

I can’t decide if I like it or not. I think I do…

Aaaaaaaand now there’s a buttery smooth app.

I found this episode of Preston Push’s podcast really helpful.

As for books, The price of Tomorrow by #[2] is a must read. There’s only one chapter technically about bitcoin, but the book is tangentially making the case for bitcoin.

One of my favorite nostr long form content authors is nostr:npub1e8wv6halzds9g9w7k09q86g4fnthqq8nlvwesds7tndyah8qpkdqxqa29a https://habla.news/everexpanding

He writes about Physics, Math, Bitcoin and Nostr. I gotta adming that some of the articles go over my head but thoroughly enjoy reading them.

Followed. 🤙

One hundred percent agree and understand your point. Social media may not even be its best use case long term. However, that’s how many people are going to initially be introduced to it. I could be wrong, but I suspect that a high percentage of Nostr discussion at the bitcoin conference is around getting onboarded through apps like damus, amethyst, snort, etc.

Imagine joining a new social network billed as being designed for everyone and when you get there you find everyone has pronouns in their bio, variations of the pride flag in their avatar, and are unironically telling each other to “stay woke.”

There’s a danger that that’s what #nostr is becoming except instead of woke stuff everyone has “stay humble and stack sats” in their bio, laser eyes in their avatar, and is unironically posting about how we need to get rid of likes on social media and replace them with financial micro transactions.

I still don’t understand. What you say may be true about centralized systems - they tend towards something other than their initial objective.

But I don’t see how this relates to consistency. Bitcoin is one of the most consistent things humans have invented - it’s not centralized and it’s a critical feature.

Generally, inconsistency is a pain in the ass when it comes to technology. Imagine opening your text messaging app and it not consistently loading your previous messages.

I don’t understand this. nostr:note1lnp6ct8r6p7av3hv3luw3qk0c9vsu2x36k3evzxtysphwrq2vt2qtyaa9p
