I used Sleep Cycle for awhile and liked it. I was conflicted on how I felt about it “listening” all night though so eventually just switched to using an alarm on my phone/watch.

As far as flexibility, I’m not sure how flexible you want. They defiantly have a legit sole. I’ve not tried all their models, so they might vary. Their big thing is the wide toe box, not necessarily zero drop or minimalism. But I tried to roll them into a ball and this is as best I could do. Lol 
I’ve had good luck with the Whitin brand on Amazon. I’ve been wearing their shoes for daily wear for about three years.
For running i have really like the 5mm Topos I bought last year.
I’ve heard, and my wife can confirm, that crocs are actually pretty good zero drop shoes with a fair bit of cushion.
Yeah humans are definitely not one size fits all, but we like to simplify things by thinking in absolutes. I will say that for running, for me, a 5mm drop seems to be the sweet spot. I hate wearing them as daily wear shoes, so I don’t. But they are great for running. Again, for me.
Yeah I have no interest in litecoin or really any other alt coin. I can see the value in a privacy coin like monero but I’d rather see that capability built on bitcoin in some way, maybe with Drivechain.
A question that haunts me, especially as a teacher: Who have I prematurely written off because I failed to see the potential in them?
