Not the first negative report i saw on nostr about revolut...They shut down accounts for no reason

Revolut is a nightmare.

A friend convinced/bribed me to open an account and I never used it. Now, on a different phone with no access to the old number with my account apparently suspended for not reacting to something last year, I'm jumping through hoops to proof I am myself but the worst thing about that is that every time the app actually closes, it forgets that I was chatting with their support so it asks me to take a selfie and to take a picture of my driver's license front and back and then permits itself some 10 minutes to reflect on my input. The kicker? Even when it returns that my ID was denied, it lets me chat with support after that. I had to do this for 8 times already. Crossing fingers it's the last time now.

Many bitcoiners think establishment powers are now in the "and then they join you" phase of the struggle.

I don't. I think they're more entering the earlier "and then they fight you" phase.

Or more specifically, they are happy to join in on the price exposure side (i.e. ETFs), but they are fighting against privacy (especially) and self-custody (to some extent). The struggle for financial privacy, custody, and overall self-autonomy is just heating up.

The gradual shift of critics from "bitcoin is a useless speculative asset with no intrinsic value" to "bitcoin is so powerful that direct usage of it must be curtailed" can be dangerous.
