Beautiful bee/flower photos. You really got a an excellent photo of the bee in the first photo and the others are lovely.
Didn't have a chance to photograph any bugs/flowers today. I've been trying to catch a pic of one of the jumping spiders in my garden so I may try that a bit later.
The flowers of my plains coreopsis bloom from slender stems that sway even in slight breezes. It makes taking photos of them a bit of a chore but the other day the wind cooperated just long enough for me to snag a decent pic.

Cosmos are native to Mexico so the climate where I'm at is too cold here to rely on self-seeding. If you have one show up I'd try gathering the seeds for next year. They are easily started from seed and grow quickly. I actually started these too early indoors and they got a bit leggy. A friend just scatters them in his garden in the spring and just lets them do their own thing.
This amazing creature is called prairie blazing star (Liatris pycnostachya) & it's native where I live. It's about 5 ft tall at this point. The blooms open at the top & work their way down. I usually avoid staking but I've no experience with this plant (didn't know it got this big 🤷♂️) & it's its 1st yr so I wanted to be sure it didn't snap in the wind.

I just love Cosmos. I met a very nice gardener two years ago who only lives a few blocks from me & she has been kind enough to allow me to photograph flowers in her garden (thus the #gardenvicariously in my bio). Last year she allowed me to harvest some seeds from her beautiful Cosmos. I started the seeds indoors in early spring & this is one of my first blooms.

You're doing fantastic with the mobile phone. That's how I started photography and I know how difficult it is to catch something in motion with a phone.

As someone who really enjoys flower photography, insect photography, & macro photography, having a garden is a real boon. My garden is bigger this yr than last so I've got more blooms & more insects visiting them. Like last yr my most common pollinators are sweat bees. Here's a sweat bee collecting pollen from a hot pink zinnia.

I've only seen one once. Never had a chance to photograph one.
That is the big advantage of a wildlife lens is to be able to get closeups without being close. Makes it a bit easier to keep them in frame and in focus. But I still have thousands of blurry photos, lol.
Sweat bee (ID apps suggest that this is a ligated furrow bee aka Halictus ligatus) gathering Calendula pollen.
