I look at it like this we are with the people we are with for a reason. I am with my mate, because I love her with all my heart. Could I learn to love another sure. Could there be someone better out there, maybe. However when it comes down to it we all have a finite time on this planet and plane of existence. Before we return to our higher source self into infinity. I would rather spend time with someone who wants to be with me now and enjoy their company as long as I am still breathing. Rather than see them as a placeholder for someone better that could have been.
I could spend an infinite amount of time thinking about all the many new love possibilities and lost opportunities of my past. Existing in a state of perpetual regret and longing. I choose to live in the present moment with who wants to be with me and I with them. This allows me to have the comfort and love that I desire when I sleep next to them at night.
You are truly a unique individual and there is someone else out there deserving of your love. Even if it is not the person you feel you desire now. Learning something new can also be rewarding too. Opening up your mind to the infinite possibilities and discovering new forms of love. Enriches your life and fills your heart with a new level of satisfaction that you never thought possible.

I just realized something. For the Borg to proclaim they seek perfection they're pretty fucking lazy during assimilation. They did not even bother to remove the clothing from their drones before assimilating them and grafting all that technology into the body. It is like slapping a new coat of paint over a wall.
Not only do you have to suffer being a part of the collective you apparently are stuck with whatever clothes you had on at the time of assimilation. This is bullshit and potentially very problematic depending on what you were wearing at the time. Imagine if it were itchy wool, or a thong riding up your ass with a wedgy for life.
This is the wrong answer, but you could definitely have been much more wrong than you are. Still a great movie.
