I don't have a use for this but I think it's pretty badass. Bitcoin multisig using nostr.

Is this black soldier fly larvae?

Here's an update on my attempt to attract and hatch black soldier fly larvae (bsfl).
It's been about a month since I baited my bsfl bin.
A few days ago I finally see what I think is bsf larvae.
I've never seen a bsfl before so I'm not sure.

This is on my todo list
I love Mondays. They are my Saturdays
This is true but it's also important to realize reality for what it is at the same time.
Maintaining propper perspective is is better than seeing through rose colored glasses.
I bought a pixel 6 with the idea of installing grapheneOS, I just haven't pulled the trigger yet
Building good secure hardware is not trivial, especially since we don't really have manufacturing in the US and have to trust China.
We do have good software, grapheneOS for example

My workflow for posting on nostr.
It's a huge pain in the ass but I end up having less mistakes in my posts and my images that I share are safe from meddling.
First off, I write my nostr notes using the nextcloud notes app.
I have a template file prefilled with hashtags.
For some reason Amethyst sucks for editing text as you inevitably end up deleting text that you wanted to keep (devs should fix this)
Then if I want to post a picture I use the Image Resizer app https://f-droid.org/en/packages/ru.tech.imageresizershrinker/ because nobody wants to download a 2mb+ file just to see a pic of my wooden mushrooms.
I then use the FTPClient app https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.qwerty287.ftpclient/ to upload them to my server at https://cdn.kolomona.com/media/images/nostr
Then I visit that URL and copy the link location of the image which I then post into my notes app.
Next I will modify the hashtags to reflect the topic appropriately, and post the note.
I also run my own relay at nostr.libreleaf.com
The result is that I am in control of my nostr experience, my images are always in my control and my notes are backed up on my own relay.
This is a monstrous pain but freedom and liberty are not free.
I look forward to a day where amethyst integrates with other media APIs so that I have the option of choosing my own server when posting images or video.
Any thoughts on how to make this easier is most welcome.

This is how I do it.
There is a nip for hosting days but I haven't dived into it yet.
What do you mean? π
There are some that run their own relays using their start9 servers.
I run my own relay and host my own images using a digitalocean droplet.
Not a perfect solution but more decentralized than most.
This is how I got the bulk of my BTC. I wish I would've visited it more often
A qr code is just text so having the plain text below the qr for easy selecting and copying is a good idea. And /or a button that when you tap it (or the qr) copies to clipboard.
A little physics simulation just for fun

Just playing around with #Blender for a bit today.

When I lived in Washington State I grew strawberries in a similar planter.
It was great because there was less of a slug problem and I didn't have to bend over. Kudos on the design
