I know this is nother compared to Bitcoin returns but it's something and it's less about the return and everything about opting out of comercial banking and keeping the banking function within the family.

Historically suicide increase in recessions so I wouldn't be surprised. But the data being collected might capture that as something other than financial hardship. Might be depression or something like that so it will be nearly impossible to know.

I went to Portugal. Some of my friends are family have or are actively planning to move out of Canada.
Doesn't sound so silly after one person moves and says they are never go back.
These 2 homes are located ~10 kms apart but have just one big difference, they are separated by an international border.
Can you explain the ~$475,000 Cdn $ price difference?
