Hi Francis! Yes, please follow me. Is J on here too?Good to see you here!!!
That is awesome. Please share the link when you have it.
This week I wrote a bit about the Mi Premier fundraiser dinner in San Salvador along with how you might want to grow wings if you are a fish š.

Something landed for me tonight whilst talking to Tip_NZ before she performed at the Mi Premier Bitcoin Annual fundraiser. Something I know but didnāt know in my bones until she said it.
Me: āI love El Salvador and the people are so welcoming. But they are selling their property at what is a big profit for them and they wonāt be able to buy it back in the future. They might not like us new expats as much when they canāt afford to live on the beach anymore.ā
Tip: āNot if they sell it for Bitcoin.ā
Me-in-my-head: āOMG, of course. They just need to understand that.ā
Thanks Tip for an ah-ha moment and a fantastic performance. Thanks John and everyone at Mi Premier Bitcoin for teaching people on a very tight budget and staying independent and open source.

This is my newest post regarding the adventure of car hunting here in El Salvador. But it is really about trusting yourself 100%. Which in the end is about embracing your personal sovereignty. Which is about owning bitcoin. Which all involves why you are here. Follow your āHell YES!ā and all will be well. Be strong. Stack sats. Put your energy behind what matters most to you. (Which is one reason I am taking time to post this hereā¦I believe Nostr can and is changing the world for the better). https://becomingabutterfly.substack.com/p/does-it-feel-like-a-hell-yes

The El Zonte Bitcoin Farmerās Market is bigger every time. My friends Clusk and Gabriela just started a new fresh-squeezed OJ business. There is so much happening here. Entrepreneurship, enthusiasm, and hope.

Here is my weekly post. Click here to read it:

There is a heat wave in El Salvador today and the electricity and AC are out until 1pm here in El Zonte. So I walked on the beach early and then got a day pass here. I love living free.

This is a link for my latest blog. What are your ways to feel good?

Ok. This says something as this is my third attempt to post what I want and I am here, attempting it again. Because you nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m put fire under my ass when I saw you in a video from BTC Atlantis say we need to USE the things we want. And I do want purple ostriches bad. And then nostr:npub1spdnfacgsd7lk0nlqkq443tkq4jx9z6c6ksvaquuewmw7d3qltpslcq6j7 got me up and running again on Primal when things were not working so I can do some zapping. And he had me pause and close my eyes while he zapped me. So I could feel it. Really feel it. And honestly, zapping is orgasmic. I am really into zapping. So I am glad I can do it more because I may not be able to get enough of it. nostr:npub1j8y6tcdfw3q3f3h794s6un0gyc5742s0k5h5s2yqj0r70cpklqeqjavrvg you know what I mean? But I donāt think I need AA for ZAP addicts for this. Some things are just good for you. They give you energy. They are encouraging and fun and clean. Never too much of that for me. So zap me baby. And I will write some non-technical things from El Salvador, land of hope, on transformation or anything I find humorous or interesting. Maybe even at times a tad inappropriate or edgy just for fun because no one will ban me!!!!!!I God that feels freeing. So zap the hell out of me because it feels like this (take 3):

I zapped you for that. My first one since I got my new Primal wallet working thanks to nostr:npub1spdnfacgsd7lk0nlqkq443tkq4jx9z6c6ksvaquuewmw7d3qltpslcq6j7 . Thanks for your support and willingness to help me with things.
I am new to posting much here or using social media in generalā¦which I am sure everyone here understands. My aversion to censorship and many other things have led me to Nostr and to attending Nostrica in Costa Rica. It was a life highlight for me as I left with a sense of optimism and hope for humanity.
Currently I write a weekly blog on Substack for free.
This week, I touched on the energy of war, including the energy of war as it relates to Bitcoin.
Sometimes, friends read my blog and respond personally to me. One friend, who teaches about BTC at the college level, just did so.
I asked her if we could bring the topic here, more publicly.
Are we, as lovers of personal freedom, autonomy, and cheerleaders for a healthier world, at war with things? Are we at war with the Fed? Are we at war with whoever is not in agreement with us on things? And if so, is that helping?
I am hopeful my friend will add her comments here and that this link is adequate. But even if you donāt read what I wrote, which was not targeted specifically towards this topic as it relates to BTC, it seems like a useful topic to explore.

I am no longer part of Strike.
After 4+ years, the time has come to move on and contribute to Bitcoin in a different way.
My thanks goes out to all of you here who came from #Bitcoin Twitter! Support Strike and me have received from you over the years was instrumental in our success!

Twitter also helped me and nostr:npub1dmcd5wqd3yku05svp6xqk5gyywek4cgg0w3dk63tcu0rmjxnanns5xutjm connect and develop our relationship.
He followed the success of nostr:npub155m2k8ml8sqn8w4dhh689vdv0t2twa8dgvkpnzfggxf4wfughjsq2cdcvg, and over the years we began talking on coding, FOSS, teams, life...

Then in June 2019 Jack texted me and asked to help him take ln_zap to the next level:
> Unc, I'm looking to turn Zap into a startup and begin selling BTC over Lightning directly inside the wallet
Having a pre-seed startup for your full time job is always tough.
I considered doing it mainly because I wanted to see how Jack will grow as a person and entrepreneur. Like many in the Bitcoin community, I believed in him... and wanted to help him with my skills and experience.
Zap also already had a team of amazing FOSS contributors that I appreciated and wanted to know better.
Opportunity to work with Otto, Ole, mrfelton, Dylan, Korhal, Raph and Namson is what pushed me over the top and sealed commitment.

What followed was hardcore coding of backend that would provide additional APIs and run features Jack had in mind for Zap wallets on iOS, Android and Desktop.
By September we had the first version out
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xj9IMNAswSM
By the end of 2019 we have completely abstracted away the ability to pay lightning invoices.
This is when decision was made to go with completely new app, providing clean experience, focused on ease of lightning payments and UX.
Strike was born: https://jimmymow.medium.com/announcing-strike-by-zap-4f578c7c8984
6 months later, it was time to go with public... Strike BETA was released to everyone that wanted to download it.
https://jimmymow.medium.com/announcing-strike-public-beta-325877a79f87
Looking back, I couldn't be more proud on all the coding I've done on Strike.
Credit where credit is due - big part of that was mrfelton. Otto, Raph and Korhal as well.
Support these guys provided was critical for my coding commits streak of 2019, 2020 & 2021.

And not just them. I was lucky to be able to bring in more amazing engineers into Strike.
Kataklinger, Frank and Giancarlo who I hired for backend delivered big; so it was asked of me to help do the same across Engineering... and eventually whole company.
Thus in 2021 and 2022 I did more of what VP of Engineering traditionally does. There was still sporadic day to day coding, but I was focused on recruiting needed talent, structuring teams and setting up others for success.
In the end I've helped interview and hire over 80 people.
I'm especially proud of realization that I would repeat every single technical hire we've made.
To all that joined Strike over the years - thank you for the work you've done. It was privilege working together with you.
Finally, my focus in the last year was on ensuring that culture of Bitcoin is strong within Strike... and that Strike gives back to Bitcoin for the immense support it has received over the years.
In the process we started numerous partnerships and executed on several grants.
We were glad to give to organizations

To individual contributors

To projects
https://twitter.com/jackmallers/status/1529204176101724161
And all that are working tirelessly every day to push Bitcoin forward.
We have also supported conferences like TabConf, AfroBitcoinOrg, TheBitcoinConf and meetups like ChiBitDevs.
In the end - I wish Strike all the best. It turned into the app that served as entry point into Bitcoin for many... and I hope it will get to do that for many more, across the globe!
Celebrating you, your contributions, and your journey. May it continue to be exciting, exquisite, and a thrilling ride into a new and better version of who we all are. Thanks for being the leading edge for all of us.
Ok. Time for a beginner non-technical first public post here. And I want you to celebrate with me because I am on my way to Zapping (lesson #2, next week).
I want you brilliant-changing-the-world people to know that I have now sent 1 Satoshi to Arman, using Wallet of Satoshi. Successfully. Magically, for pretty much free.
I also want you to know that my homework is to pay Arman, for a series of classes on BTC, using BTC, and load some BTC on my Wallet of Satoshi now, before I go to El Salvador, which I hope to do within the next six weeks.
I also have a way to track that for my sh**..Ty tax tracking which I still currently need to do for my sense of well being (tax programs are hellish if you canāt account for spendingā¦and yes, I know there is non-KYCā¦but it has been an on ramp for me. I respond well to kindness and not criticism, so please hold back if you are a venting person).
Finally, here is the best thing: Arman taught me I have an address on Wallet of Satoshi so I finally found my Zaps my friend sent me, which I could not find on my Alby extension. I am not religious and I was feeling really fiesty yesterday due to things I see happening in the world I do not like at all, and I was talking to God about what do with all this energy and why I was designed so dang fiesty. I also have a Substack blog I started called Becoming a Butterfly.
Drum roll please.
Here is my random email address for wallet of Satoshi:
willfulinsect22@walletofsatoshi.com
I think Arman was jealous.
