Happy to share the launch of the Hodler Prize ! I conceived the prize as the missing link between Bitcoin and the cultural elite, that still needs help to get it meanwhile BTC needs them to widespread. Each year, we’ll reward a text focusing on societal transformations : novel, essay, post, script, speech, song, journalist piece, published or translated into english, on paper or online format.
The international jury is composed of 9 distinguished figures from literature, film, music, social sciences, journalism, and the Bitcoin community, plus 1 public vote.
The Hodler Prize's award is 1 Bitcoin and will always be 1 Bitcoin. It is a bet on time to demonstrate the non-inflationary power of Bitcoin. The Nobel Prize is currently the highest-endowed literary prize, with a prize of 1 million dollars. Sooner or later, the dollar equivalent of the Hodler Prize will surpass it.
First edition May 2024.
