Switched from gmail and gdrive to nostr:npub1mea2vwcu06qf7e4x00wd902vj54qnn2jacq76ldntrgfhtvhlpqqrvqane this year, never looking back.
Lots of good stuff to say, but for me the core reason is to opt out of the panopticon and pay for a solid service that has values rooted in privacy.
One particular benefit is the aliases, where you can have separate addresses for separate usecases.
