Wow. That top 5% seems entirely reasonable as a point of entry... someone said to me the other day that "You get in at the price you deserve." and I can't get it out of my head. I'm upside down, turned all around because everything in the fiat world is "No. No. No." and I can't find any evidence of "no" over here... I dunno, #earlydays of adoption for me, but the future looks better with #Bitcoin.

Since I joined #nostr I quit doom scrolling cold turkey. It's not even appealing anymore, the energy over here is just so. much. better. #grownostr

It’s not needed, only optional. You can register a name - e.g. souls at domain dot com. It is more readable than npub123etc.

Nearly a decade and a half ago, in my early twenties, I was an administrator for a small/medium online forum. This was before social media was super popular.

At first I just posted on the forum, and then the admins asked me to be a mod. And then as some admins left, they asked me to be one of the admins. So I did.

I did this for like five years, for free. I was working full time, going to grad school part time, running a dividend blog part time, and yet for some reason was also volunteering a lot of time to help run this forum. Because I liked it. After years eventually I left, and someone else stepped in to take my place. All the admins were just volunteering.

Anyway, that’s who runs the relays. The psychopaths.
