Envy and spite are the enemy of virtue

This also applies to (non-tobacco) nicotine pouches and snus.

The WHO has been pushing this for a long time, arguing it would take away the “cool” factor for those who use these products.

I wrote this article in 2017 in South Africa warning against plain packaging and how it wouldn’t do anything to prevent smoking

When brands are made illegal, consumers have no means of deciphering differences in product quality or selection, and are left less informed.

"hey yaël, what's your job?"

‘twas an honor and privilege to meet so many of you in person at the Oslo Freedom Forum.

Stay strong and free. Until next time ✈️

need a good journalistic standard

Are you part of the massive data leak of 361 million email addresses + passwords circulating on telegram?

Swearing in Oslo. Tak.

Technically, this is just a PAC w/ RNC (hence why the minimum is $500). Not the official campaign.

The max contribution per donor ($3,300) is forwarded to Trump's direct fundraising campaign, and then the rest is split between his legal cost PAC (Save America) and the RNC

They both serve similar, albeit different purposes. One seeks to upgrade podcast experiences (and uncensorability via the podcast index) while the other is a decentralized comms protocol that almost anything can be built on. We realistically need them both to succeed.

I’ve been a podcasting 2.0 and V4V proponent and participant from the beginning and I also love nostr. They can integrate well, but I know many of the main devs on either don’t necessarily see it that way

The nostr vs. podcasting 2.0 battle is a necessary one for determining the future of censorship-free distribution of music, information, and data.

In an odd way, I selfishly hope both sides win. Then we all do.
