the seen and the unseen. so much productivity loss. I also had some CAD left there, and now it's just totally devalued. Not much many can do but wait it out

For an economy so interlinked to the US, it's genuinely sad to see how much the Canadian dollar has just been pummeled over the years.

When you're syncing a new bitcoin core node and your entire network starts to slow down:

"Ah, we've hit the Ordinals, sir."

"I remember those times. Massive blocks, weird robes, and too much shitposting. Full steam ahead!"

The best way to actually fix this would be a simple one page bill, granting de minimis exemption to all bitcoin transactions below $50,000.

What is your preferred NAS solution?

I use both synology and Unraid, but I'm tempted by many others.

If your point is just that “Monero is better for privacy” I don’t disagree. It’s very useful and should remain so going forward for those who want perfect privacy

If you read any of the language of the model bills, they are written in a negative rights position (similar to the bill of rights): the government SHALL NOT do X or Y with relation to Bitcoin or any crypto-offspring (including XMR). There are no positive rights included.

The aim is to restrict the ability of the state to intervene in peer-to-peer transfers and proof of work mining, and in doing so, recognize natural rights to use P2P. Do you oppose that?

Men who are forced by their wives to watch it, there’s a “Dr. Hayek” in Virgin River. Spontaneous order, baby

What I’d love is the ability to use bitcoin core, electrum, or fulcrum to run a full node on unraid — and maybe even Phoenixd for a sovereign lightning node — all these other docker implementations are shit with bad permissions. More sats for your effort, mate, but thank you for starting this!

if it somewhat concerning that if you want to self-host many AI models, an NVIDIA GPU is the basic requirement while shunning all other set-ups. Why?
