I found an app on F-Droid called wX. Seems like it's maintained by the NWS/NOAA and it's exactly what you'd expect. A suckless weather app with all the technical details, satellite pictures and real-time doppler data.

I've already had several idle discord accounts get disabled with no possible way to get them back. It's so annoying and I have not violated a ToS or rules of a server.
A serious discussion needs to be passed around in the developer communities to abandon discord outright due to these problems. There are still many other alternatives that just work. I literally think Discord culls free accounts because they want people to consoom more and sign up for "nitro"

The more concerning thing I've noticed are change in weather patterns. Storms coming from the wrong direction - tornado/hail producing storms even though it's late in the season for that.
I would attribute this more to pole shifting/splitting before carbon emissions.
