The chat based trade in Bisq 2 is annoying as hell. I really hope they don't plan to make this the default.

The trade channel is a support forum more than anything else. Letting people fire off chats in the open and in the middle of the trade interface makes no sense to me (reading the chats, it appears I'm not alone).

It's feeling more like Slack than an exchange. Really bizarre UX.

I can also imagine a lot of people getting scammed using this. The first thing I would do (as a scammer) is complete some sales between several Bisq profiles I control (to increase reputation) and then rug someone good later on. Rinse and repeat.

No good in my opinion. Especially as a default for new users.

I wish you could set a like to be a default small zap in amount of your choosing and have that be a one tap zap.

I’m not going to zap everything I “like” bc I zap 100 sats for great content but I’d be happy to give the other stuff I “like” 1 sat. Not going to adjust my zap amount that often though.

The dollar is inflationary right. Since more is printed every year its value goes down. Bitcoin on the other hand, goes up forever in value because of all of its properties. It’s deflationary: its value goes up as time passes.
