Zoom out and looking at the big picture.

Are the little things you’re worrying about worth it? Probably not.

Handle the big problems first and worry about the details later.

Enjoy the rest of your time with family and friends.

The pro versions of exchanges are much cheaper. For example, maker fees on kraken start at 0.25% (used to be 0.16%) and tier down from there. CB is a little higher % I believe.

Strike starts at 0.99%, was hoping the limit fee was closer to those numbers. For a smash buy I understand the fee and spread because of the short term volatility by the time you set up and confirm the buy.

Fees add up over time!

I thought covid was over with but lots of people I know caught it in the last 4 weeks. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s it, same symptoms.

Feel better!

I’ll claim my prize and walk away now.

Glad it worked. Was hoping limit fees were more on par with the “pro” exchanges. I understand smash buys being more expensive due to the price volatility but limit orders could be more competitive.

Still, a great addition!

PSA: The older you get, the more you should stretch.

Add 30 seconds to your stretch every pre-workout and post-workout on your birthday.

Eventually, your stretch will become the workout itself.

I assume it worked as expected? Are the fees lower than a smash buy?

“I wish I hadn’t done that.”

Said no one ever after working out.

Agree but few do. It’s easier to just follow group think.

Today’s going to be a great day.

Don’t let anything bring you down. If any issues comes your way, smile and work them out.

The ask.

People who constantly ask is a huge giveaway. Can you do me a favor? Can you help me out with X? Can you talk to Y person for me? Can you lend me Z?

True friends are typically givers. Doesn’t have to be material things, could be time, advice, a helping hand, etc.

Another big one is negativity.

Negative people always attract issues and problems. For example: you go with them to watch a movie and they start a fight with someone in the parking lot, waiting in line, or shushing someone. If this happens frequently slow distance yourself. The toxicity is contagious.

Hang out with positive and ambitious people and that rubs off on you in a good way.

It is hard.

You trade one type of stress and headache for another.

As an employee, you have the job security and can occasionally slack and your paycheck will be there at the end of the week but you have to put up with the boss.

As a business owner, you have complete freedom to do whatever you want but it all sits on your shoulders, put up with customers (aka your boss), there’s no guaranteed paycheck unless you work hard for it. If you have employees, they also depend on you.

In my opinion, it’s worth trying to make a business work but it’s definitely not for everyone.

Ask any Cuban, Venezuelan, or anyone that’s come from a communist country what they think about that video or what party they’ll vote for.

People saying communism or socialism is good read it in a book or heard some college professor glorify it. In theory it sounds positive - everyone shares the wealth and everyone benefits. Real life is a different story.

Go look at those countries and tell me socialism or communism works.

I get your point…

But to be fair, there’s a slight difference between the two.

What we mostly experience with inflation with fiat is debasement, true. Inflation is simply supply and demand, usually temporary (computer chips delayed because a container fell in the ocean, the product using those chips will go up until things level up again).

It’s easy to be fooled by others.

Unfortunately, a lot of people will pretend to be friends or nudge you a certain way in order for them to benefit themselves. Avoid these toxic, manipulative, selfish folks like the plague.

There are few true friends and people willing to help out of the goodness of their heart. If you find one, consider yourself lucky. If you find a few, consider yourself blessed.

Try to be one of these good people for others.
