I don’t post behind a pseudonym because I believe in complete freedom and don’t have the need to hide.
I believe in freedom. Freedom of speech. Freedom to choose what I do with my time. Freedom to do what I want with my money. Freedom to have my opinion. Freedom period.
I say what I feel I need to say and I don’t worry about it.
That’s privilege for sure. I live in a country where I can do that. So I’ll say what I want to honor those that fought for my right to do so.
Seeing a lot of countries ban people’s right to speak is disgusting. The UK, Brazil, etc. it’s a shame the government feels a need to outlaw or jail someone for their words.
I think this is one of the most important topics currently and #nostr literally fixes that (mostly).
I may not agree with what you say, but I won’t oppose your right to say it. Nostr allows you to do that.

Saying #nostr is awesome on nostr itself is kind of pointless as most people here get it.
Honestly it’s hard to explain to others, my current pitch is:
“It’s like twitter but no one can ban you or censor what you say… oh and your content goes with you if you decide to use another nostr app/client.”
People will get it eventually by network effect or forced to join because they themselves were a victim or censorship.

Most people are privileged in some way, it’s a fact of life.
Playing a victim because others were born into money, with connections, a particular skin tone, a different accent, with or without siblings, good or bad childhood, etc. won’t get you anywhere.
Different generations acquire and lose certain privileges.
Don’t like your situation? Do something about it. Stop whining and make the change you want for yourself and others.
It’s funny because most of the people I see complaining about privilege are people either born or living in the USA. How privileged is that?

How idiotic is this point of view?
I have no clue what the Kennedy family relationship is like, but effectively choosing a political party over your brother is short-sighted and just sad. Even if you disagree with them.
Also, kind of hilarious to feel the need to share a ‘personal statement’ about it. No one cares what the rest of the Kennedy family thinks of what RFK Jr decides to do.
This program beats any FHA or VA home loan program. I’ll take this loan any day!

Today was a challenging day.
Not a bad day, a great day actually.
A good combination of physical work, lots of driving around, crazy weather, weird social interactions, important decision making, technical difficulties, a few last minute rushes, etc.
Not every day is like this but I’m grateful to have everything work out, be busy, and able to get things done.
Challenging days can be considered either good or bad. I choose for them to be good.

I don’t know the answer but it could be several things.
Some supermarkets may have been able to lower operating costs. How? Maybe layoffs, negotiating buying larger quantities, selling more white label vs brand items, etc.
If someone knows the actual answer it would be good to know.

I believe the higher quality LED lights with high CRI and R values solves a lot of this with quality of light.
This full spectrum lighting would only really be useful for grow lights and current LED grow lights are designed to have those wavelengths for photosynthesis.
People are so numb to data breaches that I only just found out that nearly all, if not all, US social security numbers have been leaked.
