Idk man. Itโ€™s hard to understand what you are communicating. Throwing slurs is just an ugly approach.

Has anyone told #[0]โ€‹ that you canโ€™t delete notes? Theyโ€™re forever, kinda

I like the free market and I like open discussion.

A picture doesnโ€™t do it justice. The stars โœจ and the moon ๐ŸŒ™ are fantastic on a clear night!

We have several scenarios in play here, brother:

1. Amethyst is open source. Someone forks it an releases a version without NIP-94 and NIP-95. They have a cool sounding name. It gains popularity as the client on Android that allows images to show on other clients and doesn't bog down relays. It overtakes OG Amethyst because we're super fucking early here.

2. The devs at Plebstr, Current, Nostros, Plasma, etc. step it up a notch. The Android community Zaps the hell out of them to give them incentives and to hire outside devs to make their clients better. Some of these clients now become the top clients. Some fade into the background.

3. nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s decides to port over his iOS app to the best and most popular operating system in the world. We rejoice in the centralization of mobile clients.

4. nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z hears the outcry of many people, sees them not using his client as much, sees his Zaps and funding trending downward, he realizes that building backwards compatibility and/or user choice into his client is best. Vitor makes changes. Everyone is happy.

5. Every major client realizes that Vitor is correct here and implements NIP-94/95 the way that he did. We have mass consensus and we are all happy.

6. Or so we thought. Relay operators are NOT happy. They do not want images on their relays. Charging for relay access becomes the norm. All of the free relays do not offer image support. Clients notify people as part of the onboarding process that relays only allow a certain amount of images before you have to start paying. Users on Nostr appreciate Value for Value and pay for uploading images.

7. We realize we love Elon Musk, Dogecoin, centralization, closed source, and we go back to Twitter.

8. Aliens ๐Ÿ‘ฝ ๐Ÿ›ธ

DMs arenโ€™t great on nostr. If your key would get leaked, your messages would be accessible by anyone with your key. Messaging itโ€™s worst feature imo

Update on my son's childrens book, here is the story. We made it 21 pages, artwork to come.

Title: Hal's Bitcoin Adventure(???) Open to suggestion here

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there lived a young hero named Hal, who dreamed of going on a great adventure. The villagers knew him as a brave and kind soul, eager to explore the world beyond the borders of their small village and onto the internet

One day, a wise old sage named Satoshi came to Hal, telling tales of a magical internet money called Bitcoin that lay hidden deep in a mysterious part of the network. Intrigued by the idea of a treasure waiting to be discovered, Hal knew he must embark on a journey to find it.

So, with a heart full of courage, Hal set off on his adventure. He journeyed through the dense forest, taking only his unwavering determination and Satoshiโ€™s cryptic clues with him.

As he journeyed through the forest, Hal faced many challenges and obstacles. He encountered strange creatures like the elusive Ether Beast, which guarded the forest's secrets with ferocious determination.

Hal also faced his deepest fears, such as the seemingly insurmountable Gox Mountain, a towering peak that loomed over the forest, casting a dark shadow on his path.

But with each challenge he faced, Hal made new friends to help him on his journey. The first of these friends was a clever coder named Gavin, who could decipher the most intricate lines of code with ease.

The second friend was a skilled hacker known as Nick. Together with Gavin, they formed a formidable team, aiding Hal in overcoming the many digital obstacles that lay in his path.

Together, they faced the dangerous ShowCoin Swamp, a treacherous bog filled with corrupt files and viruses. They fought off its slimy inhabitants, clearing a path to continue their quest.

Next, they tackled the tumultuous Torrential River, a raging torrent of data that threatened to sweep them away. With Gavin's coding skills and Nick's hacking prowess, they navigated the treacherous currents and made it safely to the other side.

The trio then found themselves at the entrance to the puzzling Labyrinth of Code. Its twisting passages and dead ends were designed to confound all who entered, but Hal's newfound friends, Gavin and Nick, helped him navigate the maze with their combined knowledge.

With every challenge they overcame, Hal's confidence and knowledge grew, as did his friendships with Gavin and Nick. The bond between them strengthened, forged in the fires of adversity.

Finally, after many trials and tribulations, Hal reached the heart of the forest, where the enigmatic Satoshi's Cave lay hidden. It was said to hold the magical treasure of Bitcoin he had been seeking.

The cave was guarded by complex cryptographic puzzles, designed to keep intruders at bay. Undeterred, Hal, Gavin, and Nick pooled their skills, determined to solve the riddles and claim the treasure within.

After much effort, they unlocked the secrets of the cave and found the magical treasure of Bitcoin. Hal's eyes widened as he gazed upon the digital riches that glittered before him.

But as he stood there, Hal realized that the true treasure was not the Bitcoin itself, but the courage, wisdom, and strength he had gained along the way. It was the friendships he had forged and the skills he had learned that mattered most.

Hal understood that the power of Bitcoin was more than just a digital currency; it was a symbol of freedom, decentralization, and empowerment. It was a tool that could change the world for the better.

With his new-found wisdom and confidence, Hal returned home a changed person. His experiences had shaped him into a true hero, ready to take on any challenge

As Hal arrived back in his village, the people greeted him with joy and curiosity. They could see that he had changed, that he carried an air of confidence and wisdom about him. Eager to share his experiences, Hal told them of his journey and the magical treasure of Bitcoin.

He taught his people about the power of Bitcoin, explaining its significance as more than just a digital currency. He told them of its potential to create a fairer, more transparent financial system that could empower everyone, not just the privileged few.

Inspired by Hal's story, the villagers worked together to learn about and embrace Bitcoin. They built a new financial system for their community, one that was based on the principles of decentralization and equality. Over time, their village became a shining example of how Bitcoin could transform society for the better.

And so, Hal lived happily ever after, knowing that he had become a true hero not only for his bravery in seeking the magical Bitcoin treasure but also for sharing its transformative power with others. His legacy would live on in the hearts and minds of his people, as they continued to build a brighter future for their village and beyond.
