The master quality audio and direct artist payouts got me over to Tidal from team green. Their whole royalty model seems primed to add LN as a method for artists to receive royalties in real time with no middle man (meaning less of a cut taken off the top)

Honestly laws are moving in that direction in many countries so the payment reminder might become a norm anyway. For example, in India there’s a mandate that renewals of any subscription services need to be manually approved by the cardholder. If the user doesn’t want to use a service anymore, they’ll just stop authorizing the renewals.
