Nostrclient LNbits extension at peak performance 🔥
Give it a try: https://github.com/lnbits/nostrclient
...oh, shit. this is awesome. no more IP address leakage.

#[5] is probably the easiest way to get started with a Lightning wallet that works great with Nostr. 💜
I just “graduated” from Umbrel myself but will always keep my old one running for the culture 🤙
In the node I built I’ve got LND and CLN clients pointing to the same bitcoind back end. The LND community is bigger and ThunderHub is definitely the better management UI, but CLN commando is kind of a killer feature. CLN support is also getting way better as the community grows. The new community site ( https://community.corelightning.org/ ) is a great resource.
Isn’t this how The Last Of Us started? 🍄 🧟♂️
Whoa, what kind of tree is that? I thought it was a giant crabapple but those don’t reek…
I’m gonna guess bc it’s threatening to drop a bough on your house or something 👀
Pretty neat seeing this all play out in real time
I’ve set up a pair relay if anyone is interested. Admission is 420 sats… cheap because I’m a n00b, can’t promise stellar uptime, and I’m not doing anything fancy like filtering (yet… still learning!)
If you sign up, please do DM me any feedback or issues 👍
I’m also on nostream… just got paid functionality up and running the other day!
Just curious about your setup because I’ve got all my services running on a stack of VMs on the same OP server in my basement. So far it’s hardly breaking a sweat but I do feel a bit nervous having so much running on the same machine, even if my backup strategy is on point.
Congrats :)
Just for my own learning, what relay implementation did you go with? And how come you needed to nuke your Raspiblitz node to do it?
Oof, true. Side thought: add “social engineering scammer in a call center in Bangladesh” to the list of jobs disrupted by LLMs
It’s wild to me that OpenAI rolled over in its sleep and started a wave that will completely obliterate the moat of any company whose product is based on content production at scale. And there are more content businesses out there than one might realize. It feels like working in brick and mortar retail during the early days of the internet; that inescapable feeling of “man, I’m fucked but I don’t know how just yet.”
And unlike previous disrupting agents (computers, robots, whatever), the ones who feel the brunt of this shift will be white collar workers, not blue collar.
To your point, all of this will hit like a ton of bricks years or even decades before Skynet goes live and the machine armies come for blood.
Chuck roast is the poor man’s brisket. It’s my go-to when I’m looking to smoke some beef.
Bitcoin for spare change? I would totally do that. But I bet the fee/exchange rate is awful 😅
A masterpiece for the morning https://tidal.com/track/1845525
