Old school npub/nsec from Sir Humphrey Gilbert's Voyage to Newfoundland 1583 AD
Every ship had delivered two bullets or scrolls, the one sealed up in wax, the other left open; in both which were included several watchwords. That open, serving upon our own coast or the coast of Ireland; the other sealed, was promised on all hands not to be broken up until we should be clear of the Irish coast; which from thenceforth did serve until we arrived and met all together in such harbours of the Newfoundland as were agreed for our rendez-vous. The said watchwords being requisite to know our consorts whensoever by night, either by fortune of weather, our fleet dispersed should come together again; or one should hail another; or if by ill watch and steerage one ship should chance to fall aboard of another in the dark. The reason of the bullet sealed was to keep secret that watchword while we were upon our own coast, lest any of the company stealing from the fleet might bewray the same; which known to an enemy, he might board us by night without mistrust, having our own watchword.
To pass from theological and philosophical truth to the truth of civil business; it will be acknowledged even by those that practise it not, that clear and round dealing is the honor of man’s nature; and that mixture of falsehood is like alloy in coin of gold and silver, which may make the metal work the better, but it embaseth it.

When we GameStop'ing Hindenberg?
#[1] Thats cool. I studied Koine Greek for a semester at my church. There is value in learning dead languages and studying ancient manuscripts in the original languages. Atleast now when I look at the interlinear translation of the New Testement, I can pronounce the word and semi-recognize some of them.Taking a stab at Spanish these days because of all the Latin American countries that will probabaly adopt BTC before the US. Its going slowly, but after a year there has definitely been progress. Stick with it. I finshed the Harvard Classics 15-minute a day challange last year. It was incredibly rewarding.

Does Cash App support LNURL Addresses for NOSTR?
I think WoS requires an email....atleast to backup your wallet. Sounds like Alby is the way forward with the path of least resistance.
I'm incredibly excited about where the lightning network is going. But now it is moving really fast. We need to keep asking the right questions. Sound user guides are needed.
Thank you... but here are my thoughts/concerns....ln.bits seems like it must expose my ph#. Alby isn't native on tor (are browsers like firefix trustworthy?), and I'm sure my node is exposed, plus managing channels is a huge pain and limits adoption due to poor UX. I think the UBER model makes the a lot of sense....flood the system until resistance is futile. But privacy is important or Bitcoin just becomes something that is better than a CBDC.
Ok, with Blue Wallet going away.. what lightning wallet can one use without an email to authenticate on stacker news?

I just bought SpaceBoi's thesis for $40 something. How am I supposed to keep up with this when something new is released every 2 days?

Amazon says I will get mine tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Is Jason on NOSTR?
What lightning wallet has a receivable LNURL Address that you can use with NOSTR without supplying an email or running your own node? Not an easy find.
Thoughts on Ordinals... as one that runs a full node, I don't want bloat either. We have signed up for a blockchain that has deemed 4MB blocks every 10 minutes to be acceptable. Besides not being at a point on the adoption curve where blockspace is at a premium, what is more disappointing, is the content that we as a human race in 2023 have decided to stuff into a blockchain, that we all hope will be around for hundreds of years. Our "Dead Sea Scrolls" will be an embarasment to our posterity. I'm not sure archeologists will have much positive to say about the materials found in our land fills either.
