Programming in C seems to have really messed me up. It's extremely stressful... it seems ti be mostly bad mental habits on my part but there it is. It's amazing anything in this world works.

That there are so many people who believe so strongly that the gov should be able to do things which are so obviously wrong and destructive is one of the craziest things in the whole business.

That you managed to be a part of that community and rise so high without getting brainwashed seems like one of the most extraordinary tricks, second only to the sheer technical prowess and discerning judgement to pull it all off.
