How do we know what relays ReplyGuy uses? I have it blocked via word filters but it's not a perfect solution. I also can't afford to be paying for relays either, so I'm limited to free relays, but I have no idea which ones don't have the issue of this irritating bot.

I need to research this a bit more but from what little info I've heard so far, it seems the issue was blown out of proportion?
🦫 Got a new Coracle release for you all on this fine autumn day.
This is again mostly a maintenance release, with lots of performance improvements of all stripes due to moving a fair amount of code to welshman and refactoring it on its way.
@welshman/app is now available for any aspiring nostr client developers out there, with lots of high-level utilities so that you can hit the ground running — although beware, no docs, tests, or stable versions yet.
Other highlights include showing profile pictures in DMs, and removing WoT score display so it's purely visual. I've gotten a lot of feedback that the numbers are confusing and/or unhelpful. nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0qyvhwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnndehhyapwwdhkx6tpdshsz9nhwden5te0v96hg6pwdehhxarjxyhxxmmd9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtcqyrmg86rsxhm66n6yuzuce77e2dlpv326jtxn3nhufje3md640a00yhrhac9 will probably consider this a win 😆

Quick question, I seem to get a bunch of random signing requests with my browser extension (Flamingo) when I use Coracle. They happen even when I'm idling. Is there a reason for this? It makes me a bit uneasy since no other web client does this for me.
The problem is that I have no idea how I can vet relays. I definitely can't afford to use paid relays either.
If you have a a chiropractor near you, definitely check the reviews and pay them a visit. I don't have a lot of trust in the medical system these days but I do visit a chiropractor whenever I feel back pain. Mine helped fix an injury where I apparently damaged a nerve causing crippling pain that I think was sciatica. While I still have minor, surface numbness in a few spots due to the nerve damage, the pain legitimately went away after one visit. Plus, I'd consider chiropractic to be holistic, personally.
That said, if you still have Twitter, I can recommend an account that revolves around body movements to relieve and keep back and body pains away. There's also a chiropractor channel on YouTube that offers some tips for home stretches to help in this regard.
I wonder if it's possible to hide the reply number on posts if they've been blocked on #Amethyst. I'm so tired of seeing 2-3 replies when scrolling, only to realize they're blocked ReplyGuy nonsense.
Nice, I can imagine that was a great time! And yes, it's a marvel of human engineering right in the midst of a marvel of God's engineering, thus it's one of those uniquely beautiful spots you don't see every day.
I've never heard of this but I'm down for Reddit alts (and Lemmy is full of political crap, mostly stuff I strongly disagree with). Does it have an Android app?
Seeing the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia for the first time two summers ago was a pretty surreal experience, especially given my love for both West Virginia and Fallout 76.
Nothing To Hide
World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab on privacy:
"In this new world, we have to accept transparency, and I will say full transparency, everything is going to be transparent and you have to get used to it, you have to behave accordingly. It becomes... How to say... integrated into your personality, but if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't be worried about it."

The amount of anger I feel anytime this man says ANYTHING... It can't be healthy for me. Literally the number one enemy to human freedom right now.
Internet radio feels like a lost relic that everyone ignores in favor of streaming services like Spotify. Personally, I've always preferred buying my music DRM-free (physical first, Bandcamp second) but I had forgotten how much I liked tuning into internet radio channels when I was unsure of what I wanted to listen to.
Right now, I'm tuned into a vaporwave channel and relaxing with the vibes.

It won't happen unless things like REAL ID are forced. That's why everyone needs to resist REAL ID. Let that be our line in the sand because it's literally the foundation that centralized digital ID and CBDC need.
It's almost like they're not even trying to hide what they're up to right now. If I'm being honest, it's a very bizarre feeling. It's like they want everybody to know.
My question is how did they benefit from it financially if they're giving away SATs for followers and are only intending to spam? I'm not saying that it's not happening. It very well could be. I'm just curious what their motivations could be when there's no financial incentive for doing so.
Well, that's a first: Signal was blocking a server my VPN connected to. Messages would not send until I switched servers, but other connections were working just fine.
Please don't tell me Signal's going to start blocking free VPN servers like so many other services. I might be pro-decentralization but Signal is still my preferred messenger because none of the decentralized options can even come close to matching Signal's feature set.

I'm not Orthodox but I feel connected to Orthodoxy for some reason. Even so, intercession of saints is something I REALLY struggle with, Biblically. I "get" it, I understand the doctrine and concept of this within Orthodoxy but it scares me to accept it because if we got that wrong... Well, we all know how seriously God takes idolatry, and that is why it worries me: if He happens to see it as such, what will that do to my relationship with Him?
I wouldn't even know how to get in contact with people like that, not outside of meetup events themselves. Plus, with the eternal hodling some Bitcoiners do, it decreases the chances of finding people that would be down for trading paper fiat for BTC.
Whatever you say. Have fun making connections with that sort of hostility. What a joke.
