X.com was an online bank. Confinity created Paypal, which was the payment product we know today. X.com merged with Confinity and the resulting company was called X.com. They soon dropped the online bank service (the thing that Musk was working on) after the merger and changed the name of the company to Paypal. Musk was fired before the company was ever called Paypal, and he had nothing to do with the actual Paypal payment product.
Musk is peak fiat. His involvement with Twitter was an attempt to meme that went wrong. He runs most of the companies he touches into the ground, and the only reason Tesla is still around is because of government subsidies. They don't even know how to build cars properly.
Make no mistake, Musk only cares about himself, and he proves it time and time again. Not to mention he's a pathological liar.
I'm starting to notice a conspicuous amount of Google Pixels in commercials for other things. Like I just saw a commercial for Walmart and the person in the commercial was using a phone and it just happened to be a Pixel. They're pretty much everywhere in any commercial you see someone using a phone that isn't made by Apple.
