So I'm catching up with podcasts that released yesterday today, and I just heard thist story on The Linux Experiment's podcast (I didn't even know he had a youtube channel lol), but apparently people in France have been arrested for using encryption, tor, and tails. The source article is in french, but has some choice quotes from the prosecution:

I have no idea if the accused are guilty, or what they are even possibly guilty of (The article even says the police have no solid proof they are conspiring to do anything), but this might result in some not so desirable legal outcomes for the French people!
