That doesn't even exist so that says a lot about cyberpunk.
Amazon attacking the owner of the "racist doorbell" was merely an appetizer. We really are going to get all the worst parts of a cyber punk dystopia with none of the cool shit.
Heard a great dad joke yesterday:
Not many people know this, but Leonardo DaVinci invented the first telephone. The problem was it was useless until Graham Bell invented the second one.
Looks like r/Firefox finally folded. They were private for the longest out of all subreddits I saw, I actually thought they were going to nuke the place.

Yep exactly, the entire server is defined with one file and then the system becomes immutable. Which really just means the only way to jack up your installation is to mess with said config file. It won't rebuild your system if there's any errors as well which is a bonus.
Yeah it's a linux distro unlike any other, and I fell in love with it. Honestly changed the way I use a computer. Basically you just manage everything from what programs you install to how services are configured in 1 master configuration file. It is weird to learn the nix language, but the bonus is anything you learn how to do is reproducible. So if for some reason I want to set up matrix on another server, all I have to do is change the domain name & host ip in the configuration file, then I just type out `morph deploy matrix.nix switch` and it should just work.
shout out to warwick davis

It's not too hard, I did it via nixos as well. It's actually documented extremely well for nix, I just did some edits to their default configuration so I could deploy it to a VPS without having to ssh in, cause I have to be as extra as possible.
You can basically copy / paste this whole config and just change your domain name and it'll work, the only thing really missing is defining certbot in the configuration. Which auto does all that bullshit for you too as well.

I actually made my own and deployed it a month ago, so it's just me on the server.
Really it's just a fancy way to render a text file, but since it's in emacs that means it has loads of ways to interact with the file. Here's an example layout with dummy data for how I usually organize my notes. Every week I make a new .org file then fill it out like this as the days go on. My favorite bonus is all of these headlines "fold", to make navigating around a huge file easier. And you can nest subtasks near infinitely if you end up doing huge project management with it.
Really the biggest drawback to this is: for phones, org file support kind of sucks. They are technically just text files, but I can think of only 1 app that renders the files nice like this on a phone.

Honestly nothing compares to it for me in terms of keeping track of tasks. Which is kind of depressing when you think about it, no single task management app flows as nice for me as org-mode does. I have a deep love for org mode though, if it weren't for that and emacs as a whole I wouldn't be using linux every day.
Carsten Dominik fucking snapped when he made org-mode in '03
My guess is they troll the Graphene OS room cause it's huge. I'm actually only in rooms for that, emacs, and a podcast I listen to.
Austin is definitely a place to escape if you live there.
>open matrix for the first time in a while
>for some reason I have an invite to an "anime discussion" server
>lol "discussing" the art work
>literally has cute and funny in the description
>devolves into heh heh teh lolis
Can't escape the anime pedos even on there. I'm curious where the hell he got my username from considering I'm only in tech groups. Then again the crossover of sexual predator, anime fan, and tech nerd is pretty huge in today's day and age. Guess it's time to leave big rooms to avoid this happening.
I still can't get over "fake news" being so dangerous. Even if everything labelled as fake news was actually fake, so the fuck what? Just verify it yourself and don't trust it at face value. Then again journalists think they are the only ones who should have the right of coming to conclusions.
- Quit drinking this year
- quit eating most meat
- gonna quit vaping
Fuck it. Going to shave my head, put on a burlap sack robe, and go monk mode in the rolling emerald hills of the Irish countryside.
Also got nicotine patches because I am sure vaping will not help my immune system. It already puts my position as a man into question, I can't be sucking on addictive candy vapors for no reason.
Did a real boomer move today and googled what helps with immunity. Got some elderberry supplements, garlic pills (like I don't eat enough of this shit lol), already had emergenC on hand. Now to take regular multivitamins to piss right out of me. At least I'll have a false sense of security.
