They are not really private.
Regular users may not be able to see them but Twitter will and users' false perception of privacy will make them give elven more sensitive data points to Twitter.

I was initially expecting the sats left o meter to go down by 1 but of course this epoch it's dropping 312500000 each block, if claimed.
