Try Freetube. You don’t need an account, it’s possible to import your channels, no ads, disable annoying shorts etc. Although some clips/channels will not run…

This banger from the soundtrack of 8-Mile was one of the first songs of his I heard as a kid, and like most, was immediately hooked.
