Back in 2019 Andreas did a talk about how cars may eventually pay for their own maintenance and parking using cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. And how they could eventually end up effectively owning themselves through a series of plausible events. In this clip from his June 2023 patron question and answer session, he discusses that idea again - combined with the use of AI.
Start9 is definitely the best choice. It is a real debian based OS optimized for bitcoin apps including good security, backup and a open market place.
I run several nodes on bare metal and VPS with it.
Start9 is in a different league compared to Umbrel / Citadel - they are nice for starting but not stable at all. More or less just a nice but fragile docker gui ...

Just set up a new node using nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll it was so easy I'm stunned. Even #diy bringing my own x86 hardware, I had bitcoin core syncing in about 30 minutes. That includes changing the ram and nvme drive in the "old" workstation I bought.

Why is your Bitcoin Core sync that fast? Did you preload a synced blockchain? It took me days on a Pi with fiber connection.
