Yes, and more. Someone asked me yesterday why I am learning Sanskrit, so I will share that reply here.

I get it. I especially like the Upanishads. But I only read it in translation sadly. Your ambition to learn Sanskrit is admirable.

Is it because what is material or of material origin is always finite?

I think it has to do with human nature. Certainly with stories anyway. You have to have conflict or there is no story. So if everyone's basic needs are provided for, its not a source of conflict.

No, no. Portuguese did not help me with French grammar. What helps me (and I still struggling a lot with it) are the Latin lessons I took some years ago.

Portuguese: yes. English: I can read easily, but I write with many incorretions and I talk like a very imbecile.😅 I'm trying to learn French since 2019/2020, so I can read something.

It's a kind of my personal revolt against the bad education our elites offer to us, the poor of my country.

Well you are more literate than I am. English and working on reading French for about the same amount of time. Does Portuguese help you with French grammar? That's what I mostly struggle with.
