#asknostr I’m currently prototyping UX features for https://nostrapps.com. I believe it should be closer to a first class citizen of the nostr experience on major clients so I’m exploring stuff here.

PSA cashu.cash is not owned by anyone affiliated to the Cashu project. The best thing would be to transfer ownership of the domain to me or anyone else in the Cashu project. If he won't do that (which he indicated) I wish him good luck with his domain of a project he doesn't contribute to and isn't affiliated with.
I was trying to come up with some domain names today and a surprising amount of nostr ones were taken lol. ended up grabbing otherstuff.app

For some reason it became unclear why server-side rendering is a superior choice for low-latency areas. Is SSR vs CSR a difference in trusting a network versus a device? If so, wouldn't a device be a better or more stable thing to bet on?

Today is a light depression day. I can work on things, and those things would be pretty useful, but nothing really moves at this stage in my life without promotion campaigns.
Something about that is awfully isolating. There are number of ways I can solve that problem, but it’s not a problem that will be solved today.
I like edits or at least the theory behind them. I make typos. I want to fix the typos. His editing and the gamification of his edits are fun, but if hundreds of people in my feeds are doing this, then it would immediately degrade my experience. I would hate it. It would be annoying.
I now see edits as an attack vector and a performance degrader.
Maybe we need a maximum number of edits? 3? I don't know. I'm just thinking out loud.
Maybe we just do away with them altogether? 👀

I can’t help but feel that he feels “betrayed” by “the left” so he’s desperately trying to recreate a new home elsewhere.
It’s pretty sad to see from the outside after experiencing something similar myself, but transcending hate ultimately requires a lot of unconditional love.
