In typing that I realized we actually proceed from the same sentiment. We didn’t ask for permission or forgiveness. We just progress.

Ahhhh, gotcha

I grew up skating mostly in the 2000’s, some in the 2010’s. Back then, it was definitely still very “frowned” upon. Probably had the cops kick me out of 1,000 spots. On one hand, SLS and other competitions have made it more mainstream. But I’m not sure the skate community actually cares about that. Maybe redbull and monster do. But kids at skateparks don’t give a fuck about that sortve shit

There are no good app options😡

I didn’t actually realize UTXO was a thing until 3 years into this journey. Most of my UTXO’s are 1,000,000+ but I do have maybe like 10 transactions that are 300,000-1,000,000. Have thought about consolidating them but I can’t tell if it’s a bigger headache/security risk as opposed to just leaving them be. Thanks for the info dog

My thoughts on this are sortve rolling so I’m gonna be a loser and comment on this to continue my thinking.

There is no season. There isn’t a distinguishing difference between practice and a game, because it is all practice. It starts as practice and ends as practice. There is no development phase or instructional league. It is entirely self taught. It is the same intensity all of the time, whether someone is there to witness it or not. These traits are so unlike traditional sports. The world around you, architecture, stairs, rails, curbs, it all becomes a medium for you to play on. To participate in some sortve ballet. No one encourages you, most people discourage you!

I could wax lyrical about it and philosophize all night. If anyone’s reading this congrats you’ve listened to my bullshit thanks for playing

There are no opponents or teams at a skatepark. Everyone is their own entity. We get hyped off of one another doing sick shit. We uplift the skatepark community the more we participate. An entire nomenclature for tricks, an entire rules based etiquette for skating parks has been developed by a bunch of outcasts around the world. No institutions to embrace it, no coaches, no refs. Yet an entire culture has been created without the approval of anyone.
