I don’t think it does as they seem to be two sides of the same coin.
I’m in the midst of a career change. I spent 7 years at a job I hated. I never saw a future for myself. But…in the career I’m now pursuing, I see such a positive future and a path towards it. Very clear steps to take. And it has me wondering, why do the stars align when you accept the call to adventure and take that leap? Am I being rewarded for the bravery? Was I supposed to go on this path the entire time, and the world was simply waiting for me to accept it? Is this why the call to adventure continues to present itself until acted upon? What is meant for you will not pass you by, type thing.
I gave you a lot there, have quite a bit bouncing around upstairs. Just thoughts. Is this very clear vision because I have a strong imagination, or something much grander and larger than myself?
Sometimes I wonder, am I pushing to my future, or being pulled towards it? If I envision myself as something, is it my imagination that pushes me to become that thing, or is the image representative of a destiny that always was, and always will be?
