was looking at Graphene alternatives on Venice AI and got this breakdown. Not sure the quality of the comparison or the products. I'm hoping there are plenty of people here who can lay it out well for me in terms that a smooth brained individual as myself could understand

Thanks for reaching out, We've covered this here:

Also about to post a sweet special on the Pro 9

They ask:

"Hey you're doing security, is this 2FA secure for my banking?"

Me:

Don't use fiat banks. The government is typing a numbers on a screen, it's purely propaganda that it has value.

They ask:

"Is this anti-virus secure?"

Me:

Don't use Windows, Linux doesn't need anti-virus.

They ask:

"Is it a good time to buy cryptocurrency? Can I make a lot?"

Me:

Don't buy to just hold it, use it for cash, instead of credit cards.

They ask:

"What's your phone number?"

Me:

I don't use SMS, it costs money and is completely unencrypted and insecure. So you're paying to get less, while as there are many free and easy-to-use encrypted messengers, I can show you one.

They ask:

"You really think people will adopt this?"

Me:

Where's the candles? Where's the horse & carriage? Where's the bucket to take a shit in? Oh you accept technology changed the past, but you are pushing for fiat banks, windows, or SMS because you're married to the network effect of yesterday?

seems accurate, but i didn't cross check against public records

oh so for under 200G one can set this up? docs said 2TB recomended, which is a huge difference.

Bitcoin layer 1 is closer to the 200G than 2TB

I said, Google is "far left"

My hater on the /Monero reddit replied, "No they are just authoritarian and not left per say."

Guess what bro? They ain't using fuckin Monero. We can see the campaign contributions:

Great point, I hope you're right. Unfortunately this ain't mortal kombat where you can "finish em"... they get endless respawns

California just PASSED legislation that requires a Digital ID to view social media

Disguised as a bill to stop addictive AI for children, the bill would have no way to be enforced without requiring identification to use Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. The bill has the government acting as a parent, forcing companies to stop sending notifications too late during a school night. [1]

Equally chilling is Apple rolling out their Digital ID watch at the same time. [2] California’s DMV-issued digital driver’s licenses now work with Apple Wallet, with half a million idiots signing up for the initial testing. [3] However, the only good news is that it's still unclear EXACTLY how this AI bill will be enforced, will social media companies be required to ask for ID only for California IP addresses?

I've said it before, and I'll have to say it again: Resist digital IDs with everything you got. And the way to do that is not through voting, but with your technology choices. Use open source protocols and tools that CAN'T enforce it.

FBI visit the Odysee video founder's house over his Kamala Harris Tweets

Jeremy Kauffman, Odysee founder, started filming and mocking them. Which got the FBI agents to leave out of a desire to not be filmed. (of all people to approach with that wish).

Odysee recently adopted the Arweave protocol for storage of the videos. And this combined with Elon Musk's reversal to censor posts for Brazil's government has given Arweave's price an 18% gain today.

Do you think Jeremy overreacted? Here's the video:

Elon Musk’s X Backs Down in Brazil

NYT quote:

"Now, X’s lawyers said the company had done exactly what Mr. Musk vowed not to: take down accounts that a Brazilian justice ordered removed because the judge said they threatened Brazil’s democracy."

Tell me again why you don't need Nostr or decentralized tech?! How Elon is going to save us and we can trust one individual to own the public square?

it's a mix, no one person speaks for everyone. and just goofing around

It’s truly negligent and corrupt that the Federal Reserve lowered rates right before an election,

When the candidates are running on lowering inflation.

And isn't it a BIGGER deal that a 2nd assassin got near Trump? So why is everyone talking about it LESS?

You want to get off Big Tech, But..

you also don't feel like spending a lot of time with technical stuff, like Linux

So you're sort of in this dilemma, where you're unhappy with the way you're being treated, but it's not SO bad that you're motivated to change.

But ask yourself, why is Windows or Apple easier? Well it's what came with your system, so you didn't have to do any work to get it. But you know they sell computers with Linux on it already? So is this a real obstacle if you think long-term?

Well, I don't have money to spend on a new Linux PC you say. And there's two replies to this. First, Linux works on older PCs that Windows bloatware is dying on. So you're saving money by having it last longer. And second, our articles have cited numerous studies and examples of surveillance being used to charge higher prices for ecommerce [1]. For example, Orbitz admitted it charged Apple users more, since they are willing to pay. [2]

Researchers at Ruhr-University Bochum and the University of Twente found that many hotels abuse and change pricing based on what they know about you. [3] Pro Publica found that the Princeton Review charged more to SAT courses if they knew you were Asian. [4] Grindr sells user location data, and it’s been used to fire gay priests. [5] So in the long-term, are you really better off getting regularly ripped off and abused?

Maybe you say, well I know people who can help me with Windows or Apple if I have a problem. But if Windows is objectively worse, wouldn't it's users be dumber? Since when do the less sophisticated and lower paid grunt workers do a better job at articulating and fixing your problems?

Well, Windows has all this software... But what software? Isn't like 90% of stuff in a web browser these days? That works anywhere.

When you get down to it, the real reason you haven't changed yet is because you feel comfortable with what you are already using. And new stuff creates fear.

And now here's the truth, at the end of those emotions is nothing. But if you can get past that emotion, there is freedom, community, and self-sovereign ownership of your wealth, identity, and free speech. And when put in this context, installing Linux or buying a new PC, is a minor easy change.

Reach out to me, I'm here for you.
