I mean news is news, but as a wake up alarm maybe not the best option. The first breath in this realm doesn't need to be the horrors.
My son's alarm tells the weather and top news story. It just blared through the house about the little boy who was stabbed 26 times. Jfc, good morning. Need to download him a zen app that wakes up with affirmations or something. 😬
Freedom and decentralization:
Has no ONE
Has no one way
Has no one value system
Has no one option
Has no one means of exchange
Has no one algorithm
Has no one leader
It has many individuals that can choose to be together or trade between or build together voluntarily. It will look like 1000s of different societies existing in harmony, some exclusionary and some open. There will be lone wolves and communes. There will be prosperity and struggle. Available to all will be hope.
I know these people and they have been mocked and turned away. The atmosphere itself is "dont come over here." What really matters is decentralization. It's not greed to work and invest where you can make a living and put food on the table. Better other chains than fiat imo. Even your response is salty at the mere mention of nonspecified people. I know maxis have this culture and clout is gained by being the most hard core and most exclusive, but its a detriment in the long run. Nostr is great, the best imo, but I'm happy to see someone on urbit or mastodon too.
Yes, the news cycle doesn't really phase me for bitcoin. I buy when I can and just try to hold. There was a huge candle and retrace on fake new about etfs this morning. Holders unphased.
When you aren't doing short term speculation on #bitcoin the new doesn't matter. I am a speculative trader, but not with hard money.
