Während in den 90ern die meisten Deutschrap Crews vor allem an ihrer Produktion arbeiteten, eroberte der Berliner Untergrund mit dem genauen Gegenteil die Tapedecks: Royal Bunker, MOR, etc. kamen mit auf den ersten Blick unterirdisch anmutender Produktion daher – gepaart mit tighten Flows wurde aber ein sehr uniquer Sound draus, der bis heute noch sehr einprägsam ist.
