I've been doing more actual studying of physics lately, the topic is so insanely deep, love it. The math is so insanely elegant, I almost get the sense the universe was created by a genius mathematician. or it just sprang from nothingness, which is just bizarre when looking at the equations.

I hope someday reposts and zaps completely replace the need for “likes”/🤙🏼.

Reposts and zaps are true value exchange…and have a real cost: your reputation or money.

Likes are superficial and exist only to inform an algorithm.

Relevance algorithms have their place, but they are best informed by a truly costly action.

This is like living in the era of the horse and buggy and saying, “we need buggies with bigger wheels for a smoother ride”. It is very hard to see what’s coming next, just as Steve Balmer couldn’t not see that buttons on phones were over even while the iPhone was launching and made public. Bitcoiners can’t conceive of new distribution channels and methods because they’re stuck in their “Community” and mired in the services they’re used to. It’s FASCINATING.
