My gut tells me the CEO has a ginormous ego, the original firmware team quit, marketing is CMO is running the show. No other explanation, they can't go back because they lost the ppl who could roll back. Who in their right mind pushes something that fucked out and kill the downgrade to keep using the old app till things smooth out.

It's a fucking horrible app and they removed the downgrade option making ppl trapped with half their system in each version. Total disaster. Been yelling at management for months lol

After months of every sonos user suffering from an app “upgrade” that made their speakers unusable and begging the company re-release the old version, the company doubles down. Sure the apologized for the mess but they think this new can be fixed with adding features. This will go down in history as a case study for you can kill a company by redesigning your app when you’ve grown to at best ignore and more likely hate your users.
