Gm. Hopefully when you returned to your desk, your tools, your responsibilities this morning, you considered this…that you were designed for exactly this kind of engagement with the world. Not this specific job necessarily, but this posture of creative contribution.

You weren’t made for idleness. You were made to make things, to solve problems, to serve others, to leave things better than you found them.

That’s not a burden to bear. That’s a gift to steward.

Your work is not your prison. It’s your calling. And the moment you see it that way, everything shifts.

Now get after it.

You’re not being conditioned by the medium. The medium is neutral. That’s revolutionary.

Agreed. It forces me to slow down and actually think about what I’m saying. Still might come out stupid or crazy, but that’s the price of getting it out of my head

Gn and Gn šŸ«µšŸ»šŸ«”

Zero engagement doesn’t mean you failed. It means you said something, and it exists in the world, and that’s enough. The next person who needs to hear it might find it tomorrow, or next month, or next year. Or maybe no one ever does.

Both outcomes are fine. Because you posted for yourself, not for the algorithm. You contributed to the commons because you could, not because you were incentivized to.

That’s the whole point.

So post your weird thoughts. Share your niche interests. Drop your half formed ideas into the void. Some will resonate. Some won’t. Keep going.

There’s a profound freedom in building something that doesn’t demand performance. That’s Nostr.

Some notes get zero engagement. It’s ok, we all have notes here that don’t get very far. Move on. And continue however you like. There’s more beauty in this than we realize.

#GrowNostr - A Response to the Echo Chamber Problem

He’s absolutely right. But here’s what I think we’re missing-

Yes, most people here are Bitcoin maxis and libertarians to varying degrees. But look deeper at what that actually means sociologically and philosophically. At the foundational level, 99.9% of people on Nostr believe in two core human institutions, freedom and freedom money.

That’s not a narrow ideology, that’s bedrock human aspiration.

Think about what that means. You’re in a space where nearly everyone fundamentally agrees that you should be able to speak, create, transact, and exist without permission from gatekeepers. That’s a massive philosophical commons to build on.

The beauty of Nostr isn’t that everyone thinks the same. It’s that the protocol itself embodies freedom. You can literally post anything you want. Anything. No algorithm deciding if you’re ā€œengagement worthy.ā€ No corporation determining if your thoughts are advertiser friendly. No moderator panel debating if your art fits community guidelines.

You just post. Because you can.

So here’s my challenge. Whatever you’re into, whether it’s cooking, poetry, gaming, fitness, weird philosophy, niche hobbies, art, music, memes, shit posting, whatever, POST IT HERE. Use #GrowNostr. You’ll find more people than you think who want to see it.

We don’t break echo chambers by demanding everyone show up with diversity. We break them by BEING diverse ourselves. By contributing what only we can contribute.

The foundation is freedom. What you build on it is up to you.

Hey Tucker, your thesis contains a fundamental contradiction. Intelligence agencies optimizing for control already possess the ideal instrument…the fiat system with centralized chokepoints and compulsory intermediaries.

You cannot coherently argue it’s both a CIA creation and will become a control apparatus. The design itself refutes the premise. Study Harder….

The current dollar based system, with central banks and regulated financial institutions that can be compelled to cooperate with authorities, is far more aligned with what Tucker suggests intelligence agencies would want.

Haha. 🤣 Yep. That’s definitely worked out great historically. Just ask Blockbuster about ignoring Netflix. Ask Nokia about ignoring the iPhone. Ask every central bank that ignored Bitcoin.

Fair point. All of those grew. Nostr will grow.

Decentralization isn’t a feature. It’s the future. It’s the only architecture that survives when institutions become adversaries. They ignored personal computers until IBM couldn’t kill them. They ignored the internet until AOL couldn’t own it. They ignored Bitcoin until banks couldn’t stop it.

They’re ignoring Nostr now. Same pattern. Same outcome.

Thx for sharing. It’s true Jesus honored women in His ministry, but that doesn’t change God’s design that men lead with loving authority and women nurture and support their families. We must call out all sin…homosexuality, lust, and premarital sex because God’s standards are clear, but always with grace for the sinner. While we recognize the good morals in other religions, Jesus alone is the way to salvation. Pride comes when we forget humility and grace, not from standing firm in the gospel. Weak church leadership has caused confusion, so we all need to speak up and hold to Scripture with courage and love.

Build like it will be outlawed.

Run like you’re already being watched.

This isn’t activism. It’s protocol warfare.

If you’re not ready to lose comfort, you’re not ready to win freedom.

ā€œwhile the progress of growth is slower, it will liekly be more organic and long lived, as long as the good content continuesā€. This is the way. Great article bro. We align well. šŸ«µšŸ»šŸ«”āš”ļø
